2001 – 37 Nordic Tug As her current owners, we purchased her on Lake Michigan in 2004 when she had just over 100 hours. After a side trip to the head of navigation on the Mississippi River, we continued the Great Loop heading down the river system in 2006 and completed the Loop in 2007 back to Lake Michigan. Since then her history as been going back through Lake Michigan and down the rivers into the Lower Mississippi River and then up the Arkansas River to Oklahoma where we cruised for two years. The fall of 2010 found us leaving the Arkansas River to continue down the Lower Mississippi River to New Orleans and then to Mobile, AL and up the Tenn-Tom Waterway to Columbus, MS for the winter. 2011 was an easy trip up the Tenn-Tom Waterway, down the Tennessee River and up the Cumberland River for the winter. She has served us well and we have continued to maintain her well. She is the perfect “Great Loop” boat- -Small enough to gunk-hole and large enough to handle heavy seas. We mostly single handle the locks, with the First Mate on watch. Easy maneuvering in tight spots with her standard bow thruster and large rudder. She is tough, practical, eloquent, and charming. We will miss her, but we are moving on to new challenges and are making a Private Offering at a most attractive price of any Nordic Tugs 37 in her “must see” condition: $295,000.00 Specifications – Highlights – Equipment 2001 Nordic Tugs - - Hull number 37-30 |
